that must have been one of the worst games of football i have sat through

utter utter drivel, felt heartily sorry for people paying for that tbh

The tactics looked no different than under Hodgson,
in fact if I did not know any different - then the managerial change had not happened. Disappointing that the talent that they have, is so suppressed.
P.S the comment attributed to Allardyce of "I want a clean sheet"........is imo a worrying instruction, as it will put fear into the side - more of the same by the looks of it

correct, if you never seen big sam on the touchline , you wouldn't know , tbh i hate watching England games, people need to snap out of it tbh , our team is chit , its that simple, we will never achive anything

I disagree re "The England team being ch". The players as the say "Do not become bad just because they put an England shirt on". To my way of thinking it is as ever the wrong manager chosen - as ever by the same, same, same people! I believe that they should also fall on their sword in the event of the manager failing.
For years I have been a firm believer that England play with fear in their game! So when you get managers saying "It has got to be a clean sheet", that tells me that the team will be (physcologically/defensively) minded, unfortunately implanted by the manager. At the other end of the pitch, it would seem that they have also taken upon themselves to think that they can only score within a 12 yard radius of the goal, instead of shooting on sight and giving certain (skilful) players a licence to take on defenders - overall the game plan is too timid.
