John has plenty of bottle! What he does not do is to bet on only half of the information.

It might be difficult for you to understand..........but never bet unless you have all of the facts

I bet you are in a City....

I bet Truro, Bangor and the actual "City of London" are smaller in population.......

I bet it is a City because it has a Medieval Cathedral.....

I bet that Cabby John won't take your bet.....

I bet you don't want me to give out any more clues.....

Omg are you in one of these one horse towns/city (a small "c") cos you have a Cathedral ish - I thought that you were in a proper CITY........not a pretending one

P.S It has got to be in a proper CITY for the bet to be valid - population no less than 300,000 otherwise it is a mocky city only. Mocky cities attract mocky bets ie is monopoly money alright

Not correct.

To prove the point I cite four examples. Southwell, Cathedral yes, City no (actually a village!). Plymouth Cathedral yes (but Roman Catholic so does not confer city status), City yes, by Royal Charter. Guildford, Cathedral yes, City no. Cambridge, Cathedral no, City yes.

I have more, but you get the idea.
