Go Carz taxi drivers go on strike in Shropshire

Taxi drivers for a firm in Shropshire have gone on strike over alleged working conditions.

Go Carz drivers say they have reluctantly decided to strike after not being able to come to an agreement with management.

About 70 drivers are currently involved in the strike.

They went on strike at 7.30am and will drive around Telford Shopping Centre until 9.30am.

They will go on strike again between 2.30pm and 4.30pm, driving around the town centre ring road.

Organisers said the sudden, unannounced strike was to hit Go Carz at its busiest time.

Maybe it's because the prices have been slashed to be "competitive" but the board rent hasn't so drivers are earning too little
