Taxi Driver Online

Recently, I had two. First one didn't know the address of where he lived, said he left his coat behind, didn't pay and walked off. I rang his friend who did the booking, who said a coat was left behind with no money in it. I tailed him back to his house as he'd left his keys in his coat. When his mother came out and paid me the fare owed, the guy started to get abusive and had to be held back.

Another one this week, got a booking under a woman's name, but a drunken man-child came out. couldn't confirm the name of booking, not sure if it was his taxi. had loads of weird body spasms and babbled on which i couldn't understand, so i locked all my doors. I asked a member of staff outside about the taxi booking and said I couldn't understand him. He then became abusive and violent, kicked my boot, then tried to rip my wing mirror off and hitting the glass with his elbow. so i drove off and refused the booking.

when normal people can act like drunken retards at the worst of times, literal ones need to stick to Fanta tbh. dreadful fares.

A few years ago we used to have this disabled customer (I refused to pick him up), he had a colostomy bag, used to get píssed and when he walked to the car he left a wet footprint on the pavement as his bag was overflowing.

Bodily fluids = feck that.

aye, seen that loads of times, let the fooker go & they will do fook all , drunken bravado , all said & done though, taxi driving is a chit job mind

well i've done it for about 2 months now. I feel like it's an accident just waiting to happen, which is why I've moved from all nights shifts to just 2 night shifts a week. pay's not brilliant, but it pays the bills.

When I started I worked years doing nights and loved it.

Now having done mainly days for the last 20 years I could never go back full time nights.

Maybe one or two lates a month, but never through the night again.

I'm focussing more on day time work than nights, the only late nights I do is if I'm happy my pre bookings genuine types or known to me, the day time clients with mental issues are few but touch would have all been fine.

i was the same years ago, then came back in to the trade & worked days again, p/h paying £125 pw, ( giving the owner that & the work was gone, that's a fooking mortgage here ffs) then just thought fook it , bought a hack, got a school run & just work a fri/sat night now ( well , when me fooking car works ) & never looked back tbh , just wish i could get my own run rather that work or someone else,but the website is a absolute nightmare to navigate around & no one can help me , i just give up, i cant be arsed trying anymore

Are nights as busy as they were say 10 years ago?

I'm not actually sure I'm missing much.

Not around here they're not, to many mouths not enough cake...Days are better.

If it was just a wet footprint without solid matter it was probably a urostomy or, maybe, an indwelling catheter. Colostomies are highly unlikely to leak to that extent.
