Poor journalism and/or police accuracy. It was a HC (Driver known to me) and the pedestrian is 'well known.'

well known as in likes to throw himself in front of taxis or well known as in local alcoholic ? Still sounds like a nasty "incident"

Well, I have not known him throw himself in front of taxis before! :wink:

Having said that, yes, I agree. Not a nice experience for anyone involved, least of all the injured pedestrian.
