Never named a PH but we Chrisened my ancient Mitisibushi Pajero "Pajina" and our equally ancient Daihatsu Fourtrak the the "Beast"..dunno why these things happened. maybe through fondness of the old rust buckets.

The School Kids on the Contract have Christened their MPV "Sam the Citroen", It's even sent a Birthday card from "Sam the Citroen" to the one that named it...clever technology indeed.
