the rate card specifically states "public BANK holidays" normally 2 bank holidays...xmas day and boxing day, this year 26th and 27th

I had this discussion with our council last year. We are only entitled to 2 days at the premium rate so our council agreed that it should be the 25th and 26th regardless of what days these fall on. But if they are at a weekend like this year and last year that we can't charge the premium on the 27th which is the Christmas day bank holiday. I thought that this was a fair compromise. Likewise new years day is on a Sunday and we charge the premium rate on that day which means we don't get it on the Bank Holiday Monday.
I still bet that there are some who will charge the premium rate on all the days.

our tariff card specifically states T3 Xmas day boxing day and new years day and T2 for all bank holidays which includes the extra ones at xmas

I think the drivers need to get the council to agree to a trade liaison meeting and make sure it's on the agenda and enough bods turn up to make their feelings known
