seriously though i think in a way it is all our faults and nobodies fault. news tends to be repetitive by nature it is a repeating cycle of cse/sex offences and drivers running over pedestrians plus a few pirate hire getting caught touting; refusals of guide dogs etc. etc.

these are not one off stories but every week stories so the comments and discussions are similar month in month out and it becomes a bit boring so people only come on here when there is a "burning issue" locally


It isn't fresh or new anymore so posting is down to a select few whilst the bulk of users "mine" the site for information rather than get involved in discussions about everyday occurrences in our trade.

If you want livelier then you would need to widen it's appeal which would defeat it's original purpose
