Firstly, once licensed the plate must always be on the vehicle if it is a Hackney. For private hire vehicles a council may give an exemption from displaying the plate. If a vehicle is only doing weddings and funerals it is exempt from being licensed.

I would define it as a car to and from the Wedding service.

And I remember reading a case or article a long time back suggesting just that.

There is case law that says basically to and from the church/reception/to airport afterwards, only if immediately connected with the wedding, not the hen-night the previous day as some limo operators seem to think.

I can plate almost any age and upto 8 seats, inc LHD, etc
