Eye-opening footage shows a minibus taxi spluttering along a motorway, smoke pouring from its exhaust, after apparently it was nearly destroyed in a crash.
The vehicle appears to have rolled over in the smash, leaving its entire frame crushed and on the verge of collapse.
Undeterred, its driver climbed back behind the wheel and returned to the roads in South Africa, where it was filmed by an incredulous Twitter user who posted the clip online.
Norma Mansoor said: "I also watched this over and over just to see if what I was seeing was what I was seeing".
The driver was slammed by the Crime Intelligence and Community Awareness police community group, which described the minibus as "totally illegal and unroadworthy".
