As B&H had a half marathon today Uber went into surge mode, for the few London minicabs working down here.

Two examples of their surge rates.

Center of Brighton to Gatwick (approx 28 miles) £138-£183. £5-£6.50 a mile. :shock:

Center of Brighton to Heathrow T2 (approx 70 miles) £310-£412. £4.40-£5.90 a mile. :shock:
