You can do what you like as long as you don't get caught.
But tell me, why don't you just get the MOT done in good time and stop trying to be awkward.

Do not know how you were deemed a fit and proper person to be issued a TAXI license.

It is the LAW that a TAXI has to be M.O.T. tested on its 1st birthday, and annually there after.

Yes,every car that is licensed has to be tested before receiving its TAXI plate even when brand new,but that is not an M.O.T. test as such, the LAW states a TAXI must be M.O.T.d on its 1st birthday and annually there after.

Because, if i have an MOT with the taxi test it costs £3........on its own its £40+

More to the point why cant plates expire 12 month from the last test? (20/04/2016)

Last five cars I've licensed, both taxi and PH have not had a vehicle check before I worked them.

Are we talking MOT or Compliance/taxi test?

Your Council must not believe in public safety if they issue a license without ensuring the vehicle is fit for purpose as a licensed TAXI.

Micky mouse Councillors and Officials who obviously do not know what they are doing.

Residents and visitors should be extremely worried about what is lacking in your Council District.
