I blame electric windows. When I had manual windows they hardly ever touched them, now with electric they just HAVE to press the button. But not just open or close, down a little, stop, down a little more, stop, all the way down, a little bit up, down, up....

And what a blessing it is the little button on my armrest that stops that, and also locks the door.

indeed, 1 kid would wind his front passenger window right down even in mid winter in my 55 plate mondeo.

he would hang his arm out...........till i took to skimming the hedges along a narrow lane..

the door lock can be over ridden thouigh simply by them pulling the catch

Having to sit and watch MPs from all parties behave like spoilt naughty children and getting paid for it.

They think the cars will stop for them.

Have you witnessed the chaos on the M1 during the road works? I did an East Midlands Airport on Wednesday night / Thursday morning and it was closed off from Junc 25 to 24 Southbound. The closures are never ending just lately.

Have they run out of money already? What are they going to do with the thousands of tonnes of dirt they've dumped on one side of the dual carriageway near the airport?

turn it into an entrance to the freight village and from now on the route through Long Whatton and Diseworth is going to get 10 times the traffic as it is now the only viable route in

Bit of a mess up there int it

I recall my 1st week with a HGV parts firm, based Tamworth and had a Nottingham drop and a pilot landing at EMA switched off the engine that wasnt on fire and that was the end of that.

BTW, the M42 becomes the A42 at the A444 cos they ran out of money there too
