Being Scammed by the Leccy company that you loyally supported for years...EDF put my Tarriff back to a Standard tarriff after my last two year Saver one ended...it would have added £394 a year to my dual fuel had it gone unnoticed.

Why fecking have so many Tarriffs, the only reason for it is to rip off the less observant users.

If the Cheapest tarriff was £394 less than the standard one and EDF can make profit off the cheaper one then why have 1 cheaper and 4 more Expensive tarriffs avalable...it should all be bloody sold at the Cheapest price, Tarriffs are just a legalised crime to the power companies.

If we offered optional tarriffs to our clients and always charged them for the most expensive while never explaining the cheapest until they asked..then we'd be up in front of the courts for abusing our charges.

It fecking stinks.

It should be "One Leccy company ..one Price" , then we could compare them simply one against the other.

funnily enough my only rank job today was a fare to castle bytham also £16.40 on meter I also said call it £16 and handed 2 tenners customer then said give me 3 back :D

What is with all this rounding down fares FFS?

You double them THEN round down...

When I was a HGV parts rep we called it "list nett"

check a price, up it...down it... charge full RRP

but I was on 15% of the profit (based on costs to branch)

so one of these...(5th wheel trailer coupling)

Image

(ours was the York Big D)

cost to branch £150..........RRP £350........list nett.... £350............."profit" £200 x 15% = £30 for me.... (plus my salary)

Reminds me again of my 1st week at a truck parts place, the senior storeman wrote out an invoice cos he couldnt find the plastic swipe card (like the old credit card swiper)

to Four Oaks (near Sutton Coldfield)

id only been there 1 week so went off in the 505 pickup and after an hour driving round i gave up and found a coin telephone kiosk (it was 1986) and said i couldnt find this haulage firm

the senior foreman went quiet............

ah, its Four Ashes (Gailey island/A5)........ I KNEW IT WAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH TREES
