"The membership-only wholesaler Costco opened their first UK petrol station in Liverpool last week.
As of Friday, they sold the cheapest diesel in the country at 129.9p per litre, according to the Petrol Retailers Association.
The second cheapest diesel price was recorded here at Petrol Prices at 131.7p. Costco’s unleaded price was 126.9p, a fraction higher than the UK’s lowest.
Costco’s new forecourt beat both the diesel and unleaded prices of all their surrounding competitors, including Asda, Esso, and Sainsbury’s."
