Jake Anthony Moody, 18, of Llys Emlyn Williams, Holywell, appeared at Mold Crown Court this morning via a live television link from Altcourse Prison in Liverpool.
He is charged with robbing a taxi driver at High Street, Connah’s Quay, of his £220 takings, mobile phone and other property following an incident on August 5.
Moody is also charged with a racially aggravated public order offence, damaging a taxi and making off without paying for a £13 taxi fare on August 4.
He pleaded not guilty and a provisional trial date was fixed in February of next year.
But Judge Rhys Rowlands adjourned the plea and trial preparation hearing until next Friday pending further enquiries by the prosecution.
