Did one yesterday carried a suitcase up to first floor flat she insisted on giving me a £5 tip :D providing good service by being helpful can either be financially rewarding or get you a good reputation and more/repeat work :wink:
and it's good exercise which you don't really get sitting in a car all day

I did a heathrow pick up once which was a 15 year old schoolgirl she didn't turn up for nearly 2 hours after the plane landed ! Turns out she was the pilots daughter and travelled as "aircrew" going back to the hotel with them for a while before coming to the terminal to find her taxi :roll:

this was 25 years ago pre mobile phone days !!! I did get airport information to call her name out over the tannoy but to no avail as she wasn't in the terminal

ahhhh, those days 20 years back when at BHX (was it still Elmdon then?) you stop outside arrivals, boot open and the airport cops would say "20 minutes mate"

and teletext had arrivals

has he got a 1/2" Whitworth spanner?
