barrier won't because it has a sensor and you immediately reach a roundabout where you often have to pause so barrier can't go down till it senses vehicle clear BUT

car registrations a picked up as you enter and as Pete said as you leave a ground level ANPR camera

So I suspect Nidge is playing devils advocate here as he would have surely had a penalty notice by now if not :wink:
