You don't have to have much of a brain to realise that those people who spout nonsense are only here to disrupt this forum. I think the so called Trafford Fraternity have excelled themselves in that department.

I think that's what happened to poor old Ged, but since he left the forum voluntarily obviously we never bothered to investigate.

But since he then had the gall to bleat about it this merely showed his hypocrisy.

But then again when the trade has magistrates like this, the one has to wonder why anyone works late.

Quote:
In defending Gardner, Clive Booth said the defendant was not aware that the man was a taxi driver and that the defendant was affected by drink.

He added: "Mr Gardner believes that Mr Atkinson was taking an interest in what was going on and was smiling at the sight of these two young people arguing. He feels that if Mr Atkinson had minded his own business and not started to involve himself then the whole thing wouldn’t have happened.

"He believes it was a fair fight."

If he'd even claimed that the fight was unfair then that would have counted in his favour.

It it would also seem that the defence would have considered it OK if it hadn't been a taxi driver ](*,)

I think that's the bit that takes the biscuit.

One wonders if the magistrates would have been so accommodating to the scum if it was one of their own that had been attacked. Image

Yes, I wonder if the story would have instead read:

Anyone who has difficulty legitimately accessing the forum should email TDO admin. If the denial of access is down to TDO then the Admin will try their best to resolve it. In respect of Ged he did say he was leaving and wouldn't be returning so it is a bit rich of him to accuse TDO of actually banning him. I seem to recollect that you informed him that his nick had not been banned and it could be an IP problem?

I have no doubt that 90% of the posters who said they were from Trafford..weren't actually from Trafford.

Every poster bar onya was on AOL. Even Onya might not have been from Trafford but at least he was from the North West. So that tells a story in itself.

We all know that Mr T is on AOL and also Mr Cummings et all. For those who don't know AOL do not have IP addresses that resolve to a particular address. AOL in the main use proxy servers so it is nigh on impossible to track an IP to one particular address. What you can do is track an IP to a bank of addresses and then block that particular bank. However you may block someone who is completely innocent of any mischief so you have to compromise your decision.

If it was left to me I would block all AOL addresses but fortunately for some that decision is out of my hands. lol

I GET THE IMPRESSION FROM YOUR STATEMENT THAT YOU THINK AOL IS NOT USED IN TRAFFORD WELL YET AGAIN JUST SHOWS HOW LITTLE YOU DO KNOW! FUNNY ISNT IT THAT IF WE ARE NOT FROM TRAFFORD THEN HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE FACT THAT WE KNOW MORE ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING/PLATE NUMBERS/OWNERS/DRIVERS/BLUE TX11'S ETC THAN YOU?

Tongue in cheek but if you ask is it possible? I would have to say highly probable.

Also a while ago some bloke got five plates from the council for nothing. Who knows if there are many more applications either on the way, or already with the council?

And all you are concerned about is irrelevant nonsense.

Still that sort of view is consistent with the way the taxi unions run their affairs. Wait till everything is done and dusted, and then try to change it. Image

That's about as pointless as me claiming to be Tony Blair and saying that I was seen at Prime Minister's Questions today as proof. #-o
