One of my long distance guys just told me he hasn't had to call the office on his mobile for 4 days.

The office don't need to ask where he is and he doesn't need to ask what his next job is or how to find it.

Was moaning that he had been sent several local account jobs though, which he always avoided doing before.

God am I a happy bunny.

everywhere else things are getting faster.
but thgis is slower. and they say thats good.
not very responsive either.
try doing things in quick succesion and it beeps like mad and get you no where.

Problem is that I would need a huge, mega family if I was keeping all my long distance work for just them.

Well Cordic is running a treat.

This fine tuning it daily.

XDA's still locking up, but nothing like as much as the first week.

As an operator I am suspicious of that piece of kit.

But I was talking to a friend last month who is taking 1,000 calls every saturday using it.

Now I reckon that even a [edited by admin] hot telephonist won't take more than 60 jobs an hour. So I reckon that saves £100 in wages in one day!

Doesn't help the driver admittedly, but if the office can book jobs quicker then that will benefit the driver.

Exactly.

Though Auriga do play a great tape of early attempts at using this system.

Several old ladies not understanding they were talking to a computer.

Suppose it is better than the booking being taken in India.
