Absolutley.

I carry buisiness cards that 'Mark' sells on the Paddington rank, its generated a few trips to Heathrow and beyond, and of course the main thing apart from increasing your earnings, its all work that won't go the Minicabs.

Plus, when these people need a cab again, you know your first choice.

I see no reason why you can't advertise locally as well, just be careful you don't become a victim of your own sucess with too many calls.

Too many calls? :-k

You could get a few more drivers on board and start up a radio circuit, run by Cabbies for Cabbies? Now that would be a novelty in London.

Geoff Kaley could buy you out in a few years and sell it on to a Minicab company.

Of course you can, why do you ask? Has someone said you can't?

No, I just noticed my local paper was full of adverts from minicab and taxi companies but none from indivdual drivers.

I only asked out of interest. Actually I make it my policy not to give out my phone number because I don't want someone calling me for a pick up in say Stratford when I am in Romford.

Thanks for the answers.
