Six men have been jailed for sexually exploiting young girls in Rotherham who were gang-raped and abused by them.
The men subjected the five girls to "degrading and violent" acts using drink, drugs and the "excitement of friendship" to lure them in.
One girl told a trial how she had sex with "at least 100 Asian men" by the time she was 16, while another described being passed around the gang.
They was sentenced to between 10 and 23 years at Sheffield Crown Court.
The men, who are all of British Pakistani heritage, targeted and groomed the girls over seven years.

The same girl said Akhtar would take her to meet older Asian taxi drivers, who would then abuse her.

Simply lovely....the trade is still in the gutter in Rotherham.

I think all these cases are historical acts when some of the perpetrators were in their twenties and the girls were early teens.religions in general have a problem with sex.couple that with old world village mentality and it's not good

Don't forget these girls were raped.

Not sure the age thing comes into play with gang rape.

Agreed,I was just pointing out that they were historical. One of my wife's friends booked a local Rotherham ph vehicle Saturday night from my house and I noticed besides the modern tracker system it was showing the drivers full name. I think they have been forced to up their game.

And that's to be welcomed.

I'm hoping all councils are tightening their entry criteria, and ensuring those that are already licensed are always 'fit and proper'.

But I doubt they are.
