I get the parking on ranks, and dodgy tyres. But incorrect plate fitting?

Do PH cars have to be a specific colour in Liverpool? Is rouge not allowed?

The last seven they've posted on Twitter have been mainly plates in the back window, and a couple with plastic ties holding them on, and they don't look very secure.

Interestingly, they're all either Sefton- or Knowsley-plated, so maybe they're working mostly cross-border therefore think they can get away with it.

By the looks of it the only Liverpool-plated one is the Astra in the final photo, which didn't have a plate displayed at all.

Of course, if there's no plate on display at all then presumably there's less chance of them being pulled anyway.

From when we had Sefton PH working down here I know Sefton council insist on the plates being attached outside of the car.

Can't see any Mogo plate holder, just plates attached to the number plate with plastic ties, insecure (possibly flapping about) and the Knowsley one must be sitting at about 45 degrees, so not particularly easy to read unless from close quarters.

Reminds me slightly of one chap here who had his plate in the back window for a while, problem was it was a Mondeo hatchback, so even if you were sitting behind it you could barely see it was a plate, never mind read what was on it

It's almost impossible to get a mogo plate holder to fit behind the numberplate without cable ties in the end I gave up using the council supplied plate holders and use number plate tape direct to the bumper
