Over-70s will be asked to self-isolate for up to four months – Health Secretary

Elderly people will be asked to self-isolate for up to four months, as the UK escalates its fight against coronavirus.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said it is a “very big ask”, but it is a measure which is for their own “self-protection”.

He also confirmed that ministers were seeking to give police powers to arrest and forcibly quarantine people who are sick with the virus but are not self-isolating.

“We are going to take the powers to make sure that we can quarantine people if they are a risk to public health, yes, and that’s important,” he told the Andrew Marr Show on the BBC.

“I doubt that actually we will need to use it much, because people have been very responsible.”

In an acknowledgement of the almost wartime measures being introduced, Mr Hancock said the steps are “very, very significant and they will disrupt the ordinary lives of almost everybody in the country”.

The gearing up of the Government’s efforts comes as the UK’s Covid-19 death toll rose on Saturday from 11 to 21, while the number of people testing positive for the disease passed the 1,000 mark.

So that's 50 percent of my customers missing for 4 months

I presume the police would have to wear full ‘Hasmat’ protection if they were to arrest anyone ?

If you believe in Manmade Global Warming then you've probably heard of the United Nations Agenda 21 and 2030, this is basically to get humanity off the land and in to "Smart Cities", now how are "they" the Planets social engineers are going to get you out of your gas guzzler along with the rest of Humanity and stop you from travelling abroad and eating Meat in order to get the Planets Carbon footprint down?

It looks like there are 2 options, bring in a Control System like the Chinese social credit score system enabled by 5G or start to bump off a load of people preferably by Covert means, this is where this fella claims that 5g is a weapons system and he's backed up by plenty of experts, medical doctors, scientists, engineers.
"They", are basically billionaires, the old money, industrialists and Financiers, plus European Monarchies and new money, tech giants, it's interesting to hear what the likes of Gates, Bezos, and Musk say, plus the Politicians along with the Controlled media that push policies and the Church.

If you're using Chrome, just right click on any online photo, and select 'Copy image address'

You can then just paste it in to your message on here (I usually use Ctrl v , so select the Ctrl key, keep it held down and press the v key, which is a shortcut to paste stuff).

Then just highlight the link on here, and use the Img thing above the message window.

This will put the image tags link to photo round your link, and it should show as an image in your message.

Obviously you can use the Preview option to make sure it's showing as an image before you post it

The photos you see on here aren't actually on the site - basically, the link pulls them up from an external site and shows them on here. Which is why I normally credit them O:)

Listening to rumours.

Sign of stupidity, that.

Maybe your doctors diagnosis was correct!

the thing is that as far as I am aware the only thing we have is a number of boarders from local schools self isolating and that the new cases in lincolnshire are in Lincoln itself

Oh, do you think?

Bit like the burglars of old in stripes jumpers carrying a bag with swag written on it?

Three of the punters I picked up today.

One usually uses the bus, but we are (so she says) far more safer.

One usually uses Asda home delivery, but they are quoting delivery 10 days time.

One is a bit old and imbolie and will use taxi/PH to do all their shopping etc etc.

So it's not the end of the world during the day, but maybe at night it is.
