In fact we haven't heard from Private Reggie in a long time or Trotsky ( I think we know why that is) or Bart and CC and man City fan are rarely on board these days

In fact here's an idea Sussex could you do a "global" PM to all members asking them to check in and let us know that all is well (even doom) I know that is asking a lot and we could run a thread for them to post on along the lines of Hope you are safe and well

Sadly the forum admin can only send 30 PMs at a time, which would take forever.

It does allow for mass email, and maybe an email sending out all the helpful stuff on the bug might be an idea, including safety stuff and the financial info received by the government.

But data protection and mass emails, albeit to registered members, isn't as straightforward legally as one would think.

But we also have to remember that this forum is open to view by the world, so all the advice is freely available to everyone inside and outside of our trade.

But your point re their wellbeing is a very good one.
