Just to second what JD said in the other thread - merry Xmas and a happy new year to all contributors and readers. JD himself merits a particular mention for all his hard work in the last year as regards keeping people appraised of the truth and at the same time dispelling the myths.
A special thanks also to TDO's detractors, who have (ironically) played a big part in keeping the site going, in the same way that similar people over the years have maintained my interest in these matters when I've often more or less decided not to bother.
