Nice - I don't like your jeans and trainers though

I'm quite jealous of your house as well.

Oh, I see you've gotten in before me with a picture of yourself in a suit, so please accept my apologies for the 'jeans and trainers' remark  :D

Hope it works out for you though, I always admire those in the trade who try to make an effort, even if it's only in the trade itself rather than branching out a bit like yourself.

I've often thought about doing something similar instead of just working the ranks all the time - one day, perhaps....

I think I'd get a bit paranoid about the interior getting dirty though - 'no heavy breathing, please, and make sure you bring your slippers'

By the way, was it you who onced asked about whether you had to licenses your vehicle?

Is it licensed, and if so, what markings has it got? It clearly hasn't got anything too obtrusive.

sorry...this was taken 5/6 wks ago approx.
it has small p/h plate on front left of bumper...and usual plate on back left of bumper.

but both are quite well...er....not to loud shall we say  .

it is fully licenced by south ayrshire council for p/h .

tryed just the chauffer thing but the work was way to little to justify the cost of the car/insurance.
plating the car means i can tender for school contracts / travel connections ect and STILL do my executive hires to airports / nites out ect in the same car.
only thing is.....

i cant charge silly money for the executive hires cause i am doing taxi work as well....if you all know what i mean.

just a little bit more than p/h prices for long distance hires.

by the way....suit is ONLY for those airport / nite out hires only !!

other times its just black trousers / shoes and a open neck white/colored shirt.
but i always smell great \:D/ ladys luv a nice aftershave smell from a guy.....
try it guys honest

All my guys wear uniform.

If you buy company ties it is cheaper to buy clip ons which overcome the safety issue.

Corporate dress fora whole company makes the drivers live easier.

At airports customers look for our tie not the name board.

When we walk into a restuarant etc to drag punters out they recognise the driver straight away.

All depends what quality type of work you want. I would guess bigj555 attracts a good class of regular customer.

Dick heads probably ring his scruffy competitors.

yep....dick heads ring the scruffy other ones m8....you got it in one =D>

i got regulars already....i dont want to be run off my feet...just ticking over.
school contracts and factory contracts take up a big chunk of my time anyway.

i would rather have a small group of decent regulars and be on time for em....than having 100's punters and my head so far up my own ass i dont know what day it is [-X

i agree that a shirt and tie is a must.

the company i work for have a rule that all drivers must wear shirt/tie and dress trousers and i agree with them if you want the good jobs apperance is everything. only problem is that some drivers still look like a dogs dinner with a tie as bigj5555 says he takes a pride in his apperance and that a great view to have as it will ensure that the punter will always use you and will recomend you to there friends but i would love to know what type of aftershave do you use bigj5555 might it be Brut 33 "splash it all over"Image

hi bigj5555 nice smart (appearance) car

got no chance to have the car looking like that here in btn and hove, we got too many signs spread across the vehicle :x

big ones not small ones across the front doors
big sticker on the back doors with the plate numbers .

just about to be able see the colour of the cars nearly :)

where would it end :)

that would ruin your nice smart car :)

As for the uninform we have strict dress code , no problem with that :)

At least your punters can have the [edited by admin] taken out of them for that. Skoda wedding.

Oh and yes I can say that I drive one. They are great at the mo and there brill.

As for dress code.
let me see.. saturday night approx 3-4 am. Sod the ties and shiny black shoes gimme a [edited by admin] head proof ear defender any day  I reckon you should be able to plate two vehicles for the price of one. A good car for sunday to thursday and a cattle wagon complete with fresh poo in the back so they feel at home and can eat there kabab along side nature and some straw to soke the second hand kabab up on its way up.
