HRH Chas was was up here for the VE day thingy, which I knew about, what i didnt know about was the flypast by some old planes....

Last time I saw Charlie boy in person (and spoke to him) was back in 1989 at our regiments tercentenary (1st battalion Cheshire regiment) he was later sat two metres away in Chester cathedral and fell asleep!!

why bother old jug ears is about as interesting as watching paint dry and you have to battle crowds to get a glimpse :roll:

wasnt interested in HRH, but missing all those Merlins/Griffons cut me to the bone
