Two things made me smile today.

The main one was that being a driver that never works January, I was pleasently surprised that the work is out there, in fact i would rate it better than that week before Christmas when the schools were out, so its out the door by 1 this week.

The second, as I was meandering my way North up the A1, a local PH from 'Pats Cars' rushes past me towing a Halfords trailer, one of these tiny things that was jumping around at the rear of this Sedona.

The trailer had its own plate!!

So there you go Sussex, if Eastbourne council won't plate your car, ask them if they will plate a trailer instead!

You could fit a harness and operate a 'rickshaw' service.

Mind you, I don't know where you would fit the meter, but i'm sure a few suggestions will follow.

Interesting - I've never heard of any LA having any rules re trailers before, never mind having their own plates.

Admittedly they aren't that common, and many seem to be on vehicles doing unlicensed airport work and the like, but you learn something new every day.

Well they need plates there as well.

They're not allowed on the ranks with them though, what a bummer

I think a number of council will allow them for pre-booked work, but they don't fancy having trailers being pulled onto the ranks.
