first Saturday people can go to the pub or restaurant and well...

... absolutely pathetic !

A bit busier than of late but nothing like a proper Saturday night although the drivers say a lot of people about town just not using taxis on the way there

Like the outdoor opening of the pubs it will probably only get busy after 10 pm

I think the last week has improved things considerably.

Today was the busiest Sunday since March 2020.

well last night was terrible . I thought it might be busy but apart from £50 quids worth of work for the 8 seater it was like a quiet mid week night just the odd job coming in

decided to hand over the phones to the drivers at 8pm and go for a little walk and then realised round my way about every 4th house was having a barbecue people just aren't going out round here

We could have done with another 3 or 4 drivers last night, can you lend me a couple? :D

We were ok here, the Chester races always helps, although it was limited to 4,000 spectators instead of anything up to 30,000. Only landed on a rank twice and one of them was a £40 job. The rest came off the radio. Finished on a £25 job three miles from home. First ‘night I’ve worked in 14 months, even then it was only until just after 12.

Took this saturday night off to go a friends party, the sum of the PH work that I would of had had I been working would have been £16.00

My PH work has shifted to virtually nowt at the weekend to most of my work being daytime Weekday work...2 years ago I'd have take a weekday off but now I take a weekend off instead as I lose less work.
