England had probably the easiest group but they only scraped through can't see us getting much further
They did what they needed to do to win the group. yes, we would all have probably liked to have seen more goals but 2 wins and a draw is good enough at this stage.

I don't know how they managed that because by my reckoning England should have lost 4-2 last night they just let the opposition have the ball and keep attacking them instead of going for the second or third goal to kill off the opposition

Well "your reckoning" counts for nothing. It is results that count. Nottingham Forest won the then 1st division title by being a team that soaked up pressure and scored on the counter.

well the Rarewins were played off the park by Denmark

They did well to reach the last 16 but that was a bit embarrassing for them

I think the Danish coach had a lot more savvy than the Welsh one.

France go out but penalty shoot outs are a lottery

Here's hoping England can remember how to score goals tonight

for once the luck was with England and it was the Germans who couldn't score well done Pickford , Maguire, Stones, Walker

we are overdue a good run in the Euros

Spain against Italy was a great game I think the Italians caused themselves a few problems chasing the game at that relentless pace but it was certainly exciting

Did you notice how quick their forward "recovered" from injury in the box when he realised Italy had scored.

It's worth watching it again via this twitter link.

Surprised the powers that be haven't taken disciplinary action.

Still don't think our manager is up to it.

Think he has just been very lucky with the quality of players he can pick from.
