Still don't think our manager is up to it.

Think he has just been very lucky with the quality of players he can pick from.

Just like the World Cup in 2018, England have had an easy group and an easy run to the semi's.

Southgate is one lucky manager, he always seems to have more talent on the bench than on the pitch.

Amazing how you see Germany as "easy".

Germany was a lucky game they messed up as much as we beat them but Denmark will be a much tougher game as they are well organised defensively and have a cause to play for

That said I would still think England are favourites to lose to Italy in the final

I don't think they did scrape through, I thought it was quite easy.

The Danes run themselves out, and had a world class goal, but other than that England controlled things quite well.

disappointed that I called it right but if you mess up penalties the way we did you aren't going to win

they needed that second goal and I think Sterling was looking jaded would have loved to have seen Foden replace him in extra time maybe fresh legs could have made the breakthrough

You’re not disappointed at all edders, you’ve been knocking the England team the whole championship. [-(

To be honest Mr T, I thought he was going to be our weak link, but the lad did very well, especially against Germany. He sliced a couple of shots against Denmark but other than that he was excellent. It was the Manure players letting us down again, this time in the shoot-out. Before that it was Rooney’s red against Portugal and before that Beckam’s red against Argentina that cost us.

No, nor am I including Luke Shaw, I thought they were both excellent.

I go back to the manager. Is he as good as many think he is?

IMO he is not.

We had a squad of exceptional and young attacking players. Players that are going to do the country well in the years to come.

Yet we started with;

1 keeper
5 defenders
2 defensive midfielders
3 attacking players

That's why we lost.

3 defenders and 2 wing backs that's 5 attacking and 5 defensive by my count.

The problem is he played Kane and Sterling every game they were worn out Foden or Bellingham could have played in Sterlings position and Grealish could have played instead of kane in fact I think if Foden had replaced Sterling for extra time we might have won it but it is the managers decision so like it or not we have to accept it

And your counting is a tad rubbish there.

Or are you really saying Luke Shaw and Trippier are attackers?
