Shunak gives £1 billion to bars, restraunts etc but nothing to Taxi and private hire drivers whose trade is decimated once again.

Think he gave councils 100 million for them to distribute as they see fit.

So that means the taxi/PH will get sweet f*** all, again.

on what evidence has trade been decimated ? Aren't there hundreds of media articles saying the trade can't cope ?

lets see what January brings because today I was turning away 1 job for every one accepted for about 4 hours that says busy to me plenty coming in for some parts of tonight as well

Whilst I can see a downturn coming in January Crimbo is MUCH busier than last year at least round here

Well taxi and private hire owners and drivers all qualified and got grants, if they applied, here and other councils, it would seem, have left them out.

Got discretionary grant today from Thurrock council, to be honest cant complain council have looked after taxi trade
