The road was closed between Wansford and Stamford while recovery of the vehicles took place and oil spilt by a vehicle involved was cleared.

Vehicles were at a standstill for a number of hours before traffic began to move at just after 3pm.

The circumstances of the crash are still being investigated.

rood sign removed as he was on his way home but then during the ensuing chaos one of his drivers got hit from behind by a car approaching the jam too fast

so that's 2 cars written off in one day :roll:

from what I understand though neither driver was at fault

Those accidents always look grim.

But hopefully it's only the motors that got seriously hurt.

I believe all injuries were relatively minor but bmw is a right off and it was only put on road last week
