Was a rumour on Saturday that it was going crazy again but thankfully it never made the local Twitter and Facebook accounts, thus no panic and no queues.

Idiots talking to idiots is a bane on all our lives currently.

The problem is thousands went out and bought diesel cars cos they do 70mpg...(except they dont)

Plus they only do 250 miles a week, but need to brim tanks when they fear a shortage

We only produce 45 weeks worth of diesel in the UK as our refineries were built when only trucks, buses and London cabs used diesel so we import refined diesel AND crude oil

Morrisons Diesel 153.9 ppl.....the Shell garage 400 yards away from it 179.9 ppl...my fuel card now way up at 160.79 ppl.

There is no rhyme no reason in such wildly different prices.

Morrisons use it as a loss leader to drag in punters and probably buy it (basic version) off Shell
