firm i work with are going to offer a choice of evocab data display.
the drivers will be able to have the CT4000 or the IPac when it comes out.
the IPAC would be good but the buttons are quite small.
so what shall I have?
my future is inb your hands. :D

but the buttons or tabs, whatever you call them on the screen are generally too small for poor sighted, thick fingered taxi drivers.

Well they are on Cordic.

But just think of the main bonus.

When they are internet accessible, drivers will be able to come on here 24/7. :D

Is that not heaven? :D

We're using Cordic and so have done away with the radios. If the drivers need anything urgently they can promt a call to their mobile automatically.

As for the buttons being too small - What size hands do you all have? 8-[

Things are going really well. I opened the doors two weeks ago after having cordic installed and it's been really positive so far.

We've increase the number of drivers we have (from 3 to 7 - don't laugh  ) and have a few other people interested joining too.

I have to say that Cordic is a dream to use and makes our drivers look very profesional.

Thanks for all your input

Sounds pretty good. They might have a new pda on offer soon too. The blackberry 8700g has just arrived on these shores (Jan 26th) and should be compatible with the system. I think both O2 and T mobile will be offering deals.

Maybe, just maybe..... :)
