Some Dame on look north tonight advising the education department that schools should be open eight till five. That’ll go down well with the school transport providers amongst you.

Not sure it would matter that much.

In fact, some, other than the lazy sods, might prefer it. Many drivers live near their first pick up, thus the last drop off.

So they might actually earn a few quid more in between runs.

It is more likely to pi55 the teachers off who would have to spend longer in the classroom.
