Nothing to do with the trade, and you have to see the video to appreciate this - it's half way down the page:
Moment driver crushes cyclist's bike with his SUV in front of horrified onlookers in London road rage clashhttps://www.lbc.co.uk/news/driver-crush ... road-rage/This is the moment a driver crushed a cyclist's bike by driving over it in a road rage clash in north west London.There's no comment from police on there, but this is on the Mail Online website (it's a lot easier to view the video via the link above):
Quote:
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: 'Police were called at 13:23hrs on 13 November to Kilburn High Road NW6.
'A man reported that his bicycle had been run over by a car following a verbal dispute with the driver. The man did not sustain any injuries.
'The matter was concluded by way of a community resolution order issued to the driver, who also agreed to pay compensation for the damage to the man.'
Of course, the cyclist was deliberately obstructing the road, but amazing that the matter was 'concluded' so quickly and so leniently
(And a bit of a clanger with the wording there, surely? Compensation for 'damage to the man'?

)
Can you imagine something like that late at night involving a taxi driver who's doing all he can reasonably do, as opposed to deliberately driving at someone like that
