so yesterday was a 2-0 home win for us but the yeltz won 4-0 extending their goal difference  but at least the Tulips lost so they are now 6 points behind

Looks like the Imps are back to score drawing ways but still on a good unbeaten run and Brighton aren't playing this weekend :?:

Now rant time

Why the F is the FA cup 5th round being played midweek it surely can't be just to please the TV companies can it ?

Because we had a World Cup in the middle of the season.

At last some descent acts of giant killing something that the FA cup hasn't provided this season !

Southampton losing at home to Grimsby is quite the shocker though but watching the second half you can see why they are bottom of the league and congrats to the blades and rovers

in the meantime the Daniels played their game in hand mid week winning 1-0 away at Hinckley so go top but have a tough away game Saturday against a good side in the hunt for the play offs

I notice the Imps managed another score draw  so there are only 3 teams in the division that have lost fewer games but they've drawn 17 out of 32 I wonder what the record is for the most draws in a season ?

Actually it's Norwich and Exeter city who both managed 23 in a season !

so Jimbo 7 more and you've got the record !

Yes, well thanks for pointing that out edders. How many clubs are unbeaten at home this season.

Not so much invincibles, but pretty much unwatchable. Can I be bothered to leave the cosy Golden Eagle on Saturday to watch another 90 minutes of negative football? Probably.

Brighton v the [edited by admin] cods? I hope they both lose!

Grimsby beat the worst south coast premiership team, well joint worst with Bournemouth, but will now have to face the best south coast team. :D

the south coast of England is hardly world renowned as a hotbed of football talent so that's not much of a boast. All I'll say is come on the mariners

It might be an interesting cliché if the Grimsby fans all turn up with plastic cod and the Brighton fans with plastic seagulls !

We are now guaranteed one non premier league club in the semi-finals which doesn't happen so often these days

Lincoln City 1-0 Oxford United

A tough watch again. Man of the Match, Carl Rushworth, loan keeper from Brighton. He is just amazing. But a home win, at last!

well done

The Daniels drew 1-1 away at Sutton Coldfield BUT all but one of the teams chasing promotion also drew except Khalsa who put 8 past the bottom side poor old Yaxley they've only picked up 4 points all season so we are still 3 points clear but with an inferior goal difference.

Sussex should be pleased West ham capitulated to the seagulls and crystal palace lost

Trotsky if he's still with us will be well happy with today coming back from 2-0 down to score a winner in the 6th minute of injury time !

Best team we have ever had by a country mile.

Two of the best central midfielders in the world, an attack full of teenagers who will be playing (and possibly winning) champion's league in their careers, and a manager much better than the one Chelsea gave us £20 million for.

It could have been double figures.

If Rice is worth £100 million, then Ali Mac and Caicedo must be £300 million the pair.

One thing getting beat, another getting beat by that amount, but getting beat by that amount by your most hated rival is way off the scale.

If I was a Man U fan I would stay at home off the internet for the next few weeks.

so today was a rubbish performance at home but it finished 2-0 to us however the yeltz were at home to playoff chasing Boldmere and were 2-0 up after 21 minutes however it finished Halesowen 2 Boldmere 3  and bottom club Yaxley managed a 1-1 draw at Shepshed to gain only their 5th point of the season so we are now 6 points clear although we have to play Khalsa and the Tulips at home and The Yeltz away so it could all unravel over the next 6 weeks. We have though definitely qualified for the playoffs at least with 7 games to go

Meanwhile in league 1 Posh had a shocker at home and Lincoln having secured draw number 18 mid week failed to get an equaliser today Brighton secured a point at Elland road and forest lost at Spurs but Liverpool after thrashing manure 7-0 lost 1-0 at Bournemouth

SO Sussex should be happy but I doubt there's many smiles about elsewhere if it's any consolation the Daniels did lose at home to Exeter city in the quarter finals of the FA trophy a few years ago

I'm always happy, but would have been more so if we hadn't dropped two points at Leeds.
