Now if you want a holiday home where there is no hanging about at airports with flight delays.  Just 90 minutes fron East London. Sea, Sand, and the ocasional sun. (you don't want too much of the latter, just remember skin cancer)
A nice chalet in shanty town, Jaywick.

Hi regarding owning property i have a timeshare in the cost delsol area of spain i have owned a few weeks for the last 8years and its the best money ive spent. But dont just jump into it there are many sharks out there who will take your thousand,s and run.I went to spain for a while checking out timeshare companies then rooting out the best to buy. Well because i am self employed ph driver you can get more time of. I can take up to six people at a time in my place. But you have management fees to pay, and it can be handed down through family mine is £280 per week fees. I have 3weeks end of april and three weeks sep. But if i rent it out for a week i can get over £6oo per week renting it out. But most of the time i just go with my family, SO am of in april again. But be warned it doesn,t work for everyone ,hopefuly i will buy it outright someday but they wont sell just now and it will outprice me in the future. Bigyin

No.. Because you have to cross water on a boat to get there.

Just like the Thames - after all, you can't get a taxi to cross it

Isn't that between Dulwich/Crystal Palace or thereabouts?

That's just a stone's throw from the Thames, surely? :D

Actually, I maybe did you a disservice there Mr McDeHack!

I once lived in Herne Hill, which I viewed as being not far sarff of the river, and it was but a short walk up to Tulse Hill. Then another little wander and you were at West Norwood station.

But having had a quick look at the A-Z, there is in fact still a good bit to go before Upper Norwood. In fact the Norwoods seem to cover a very large geographical area.

Hope you didn't get lost
