Whats with this 10 or more minutes of extra time being added it's starting to make a mockery of the game IMO?

In the meantime the non league results are in at least so today we were away at the club that put us out of the FA cup last season and they are a descent side so I wasn't expecting much but we won 2-0 so now with 5 played we've got 11 points and third spot . As for the poppies they lost today again so lost 3 drawn 2 leaving them on 2 points and second bottom and their supporters thought they would bounce straight back up without much trouble !

in league 1 Jimbo should be pleased with their 3-0 win over the seasiders but not such a good day for any of the other members on here although I suspect Sussex will be have a smile on his face later

I agree he has got to get on with his life, and I've no doubt a team will sign him up.

It is for all the time wasted by players. I don't know what the wording is in the laws of the game these days but when I was a ref i wsas told that when the ball goes out of play the watch stops. You would wear 2 watches, the first one would run continuously and the second watch would be stopped when the ball went out of play and started again when the ball came back into play. I used to tell the managers and captains this before the game started and it cut out a whole lot of time wasting.
some of the tactics that were used were so blatent that it made you laugh. The laws were changed so that if the ball went out for a corner or goal kick you could take the kick from either side. The intension was that the kick could be taken from the nearest side but some teams would wlk the ball from one side to the other thinking that time was running. I used to shout to let them know that the watch was stopped. they soon realised that this was a futile exercise.

yes 4th straight defeat for us we are leaking goals like anything this time it wasn't a league game but 3-2 away defeat to Gainsborough Trinity in the Lincs cup

was waiting to see if Sussex ,Jimbo or anyone else posted CC should be pleased with his teams away point at the Imps

well after throwing away the game bank holiday then losing 4 on the bounce I was expecting them to lose today to a team with a realistic chance of the play offs didn't go to the game due to ill health but finished Daniels 3 stourport 0 so a shock win for us !

And in the premier league a shock win for Everton aswell so down in league 1 Posh got a draw at Bolton , carlisle's miserable season continued against Derby ( wonder if CC went) and Jimbo probably drowing his sorrows as I type
