anyone know what corporate plate packs are?messages informing ops in dundee are apearing on our computers informing (any operator wanting a corporate pack should hand them in to dundee council by 230206 ) ive asked a few saloon operators what it,s about but none know, sounds to me by the lack of information handed to the sallon ops that this has something to do with the dta.

I think others are better placed to give you the full low down, but I think they are plates controled by groups or companies, as opposed to one man bands.

Fife Council have enforced an 8yr rule on all taxis from this april so we have to play catch up with dundee in the skoda stakes. One of the best taxis ever imo was the mk2 cavy, never did get round to putting the sri on the rank tho

Well at 8 years it won't have to be the Octavia, so all that will be needed is a Lada-type construction like the Estelle

So what was the Skoda family saloon before VAG took over, or did anyone ever buy one

Actually, the Octavia has been around since 1998, according to Parkers, so I withdraw the above remarks.

But, out of interest, what was the Skoda family saloone before the Octavia - or did they have one? :-k

agreed, it doesn't have to be a skoda but id say a good 75% of taxi/ph cars in fife are of skoda variety, much like the mk2 cavy if we turn the clock back 10yrs
