So I took the old dear who needed the loo to the nearest service station, Cobham.

And then wait forever while she also does a week's f***ing shopping at M&S there.

Melton Mowbray muppets !!!!

 so stopped in main lane at Sainsburys traffic lights with 2 cars behind then a 4th car decides to come on inside (short lane to allow cars into/out of supermarket. Lights go green and he floors it racing past traffic then having got by everyone holds his speed at 25mph (30 Zone) If he was in a hurry I have no issues but to sprint past everyone then hold them all up by driving slow really !

Luckily he turned off at asfordby/holwell turn.

We have this every day. That inside lane was originaly meant for the busses to go straight on to the bus stop just past the lights and to turn into Sainsbury but as you say, "melton mowbray muppets".

70 for vans? (over 2 tonne MAM and non-car derived?)

overtaking lane?

speed limits are maximums not target speeds and is your speed accurate?

yes when you've driven the sort of miles that most of us on here have you get to be very good at judging your speed

It's usually on the day of the election that these photos appear, I'm guessing it's because they have to be so neutral in what they say.

a picture of a polling station is still neutral it doesn't require a canine of some description to make it so.
