Doesn't sound like much of an assault, at least as it's portrayed below.

So maybe a bit more to this than meets the eye, particularly since it happened over a month ago.

Should be easy enough to ID, though, particularly if she's local.

We are issuing an image of a woman we would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Southampton.

At about 12.45pm on 17 April a woman was dropped off by a Radio taxi to the Red Lion pub in Bitterne precinct.

The woman refused to pay the fare and then pushed and verbally abused the male driver before walking away.

As part of our ongoing enquiries we are releasing an image of a woman we would like to identify and speak to.

If anyone recognises this person, please contact the police.

Indeed, it's not the most serious matter that has appeared on TDO, but it's refreshing that the police are taking it seriously.
