Taxi driver 'threatened with glass bottle' in Clydebank

A taxi driver was allegedly 'threatened with a glass bottle' during a late night incident in Clydebank.

The alleged altercation took place on Clarence Street at around 7pm on Tuesday, October 21.

Cops were called to the scene and a 49-year-old woman has since been arrested.

She has been charged with allegedly making threats towards a taxi driver with a glass bottle.

A report has since been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On Tuesday 21st October at 7pm at Clarence Street in Clydebank, a 49-year-old female was arrested and charged for making threats towards a taxi driver with a glass bottle.

"A report was later submitted to the procurator fiscal."

Well done to the driver for reporting the incident, and well done to the police for responding and arresting the woman.
