This is in the Courier's Friday court round-up.

I think it's just a repeat of the previous stuff, and just a formality and procedural thing committing them to trial, or whatever the terminology is :?

And at least they're still locked up :D

The Courier wrote:
Two teenagers accused of leaving a Dundee taxi driver severely injured in an alleged robbery have been ordered to stand trial.

Kaydon McColl and Malachi Dixon are also alleged to have robbed and spat on a delivery driver outside a fast food restaurant on the same day.

Court papers allege the female taxi driver was threatened with being stabbed with a knife before ending up lying on Forfar Road on November 3.

McColl and Dixon, both 19, allegedly placed their arms around the taxi driver’s neck from the rear, applied pressure and demanded money.

It is alleged the men said they had a knife and threatened to stab the woman, forcing her to throw herself onto the roadway in a bid to escape.

While lying on the road, she was allegedly kicked repeatedly on the head and body to her severe injury.

They allegedly made off with a wallet and a money pouch.

Both men are accused of assaulting a man outside Taco Bell, Reform Street, by pulling a delivery bag, throwing food at him and repeatedly punching him to the face, causing him to fall to the ground.

They allegedly shouted at him, spat on him and threw a glass bottle at him before robbing him of the delivery bag.

Prosecutors allege the offence was aggravated by racial prejudice.

Both were fully committed for trial by Sheriff Paul Brown following their second appearance on petition and will remain in custody meantime.
