Man dies after smash in early morning
A 57-YEAR-OLD man died in hospital after his car was involved in a dual carriageway crash with a black cab.

The smash occurred on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 at Cobham at 4.17am on Monday.

The Crayford man had been travelling on the coast-bound carriageway in a green Rover which crossed the central reservation. It collided with a taxi travelling in the opposite direction.

The man was taken to Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford, but died later.

The taxi driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries and released later.

The coast-bound carriageway reopened at 9.30am and the London route was opened just after 11am.

Anyone who witnessed the crash on February 4 should call investigating officer PC Guy Miller on 01622 798538.

Must say something about our vehicles I guess.

Starting to sound like Chenyne.

But I would still rather keep my air-bags and ABS.
