Not the first time overranking and similar issues have been raised in Worcester.
So same old, same old...
Presumably the first photo is one of the pedestrian incidents, but nothing to do with the trade.
The other two photos aren't new, and I think were used last time round
Safety fears over taxi parking in Foregate Street, Worcesterhttps://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/25 ... worcester/Concerns have been raised over alleged taxi parking issues on one of the city centre’s busiest roads.Ron Chambers, 80, has spotted issues at the Foregate Street taxi rank as he regularly drives past while taking or picking his wife up from work.
He believes taxis are causing some of the issues on the road which have led to calls for the road to be pedestrianised.
He said: “Taxis are the biggest problem on Foregate Street.
“I use that road every day, and the amount of times they are parked outside the rank or just driving around is ridiculous.
“Even if they stick to the taxi rank, they still jut out from the kerb. It should be limited to how many taxis can fit into the taxi rank.
“I have also seen taxis dropping people off on the side of the road; it’s disgraceful the way this city is going.”
Mr Chambers complaints come after three people were injured in four months trying to cross the street. There is no evidence that taxis were involved in any of these incidents.

She said: "I have raised concerns about people stopping outside the Whitehouse Hotel, where there are clear signs that do not allow loading and unloading at certain times of the day.
"When people park here to load and unload, it makes it very dangerous for pedestrians, because traffic moves the vehicles in an unexpected way.
"I have also raised the issue of taxis being over-ranked in the taxi bay near Foregate Street, with the end of their vehicle sticking out into the carriageway. This causes the same issue."
Issues with parking on Foregate Street are not new.
Image: Newsquest/Worcester NewsIn 2022, Bike Worcester chairman Dan Brothwell filmed several taxis mounting the kerb outside Foregate Street station, which led to a crackdown and fines being imposed by the city council.
A spokesperson for Worcester City Council said: “If people are found to be parking illegally on Foregate Street or any other area, then the city council’s enforcement officers issue fixed penalty notices in line with our enforcement policies and we will continue to do so.
“Enforcement officers regularly patrol Foregate Street and other areas across Worcester but are unable to catch every driver who illegally parks."
