Can't find the social media source for this, which is mentioned in the piece.

But there's presumably not much in it.

But the obvious clanger here is in the headline, as confirmed later in the piece - 'suspended' rather than 'revoked'.

Chester taxis stopped and search as licences revoked

CHESHIRE Police has said it suspended two licences after a sweep of taxis in the city over the weekend.

A spokesperson for the force took to Chester Police’s social media to confirm what action was carried out by officers.

In addition to the two licences, others were given further action to follow up.

The spokesperson said: “Two taxi licences were suspended following a taxi licensing operation in Chester at the weekend.

“Working alongside Cheshire West and Chester Council, 12 taxis were stopped.

“Two taxi licences were suspended after vehicles were found to be in a dangerous condition and one Traffic Offence Report was issued.

“Many taxi drivers were also warned about their tyre tread depth.

“We're working hard to ensure residents and visitors are safe and taxis operating in the area are correctly licenced.”

Next they'll be warning them that they were driving at 25mph in a 30 zone

First I’ve heard of it. The photo shows a wolves plated private hire vehicle ( I suppose it could be a stock photo)
