Not sure whose motor this is, but it worked for Golf City Taxis in St Andrews - you can see the phone number on the side door in one of the photos :-o

And I think it knocks about during the day, rather than nights. For what it's worth.

Anyway, presumably nothing to do with Uber Wars, or whatever 8-[

Tuesday afternoon, a very elite village in Fife about 13 miles from St Andrews. Presumably on a run there, and presumably just an accidental vehicle fire. It's a diesel, apparently.

This is the Daily Record's headline, but not the article, which doesn't really add much to the photos.

Terrifying moment taxi engulfed in flames explodes on quiet Fife street

Fire crews rushed to the scene in Elie this afternoon.

No one injured, apparently. But I wonder if the council's new 'fire extinguisher location sticker' on the dashboard could have helped or hindered things in certain scenarios? :-o

Quite a modern(ish) motor. I wonder if it does school runs.

Or should I say, did school runs. 8-[

A diesel apparently, as I said in the original post.

Also saw it stated that it was a hybrid.

And a very credible source on social media said Ford had just fitted a new engine a few weeks ago :-o
